The Rundown on the Union Vibe 2.0:
- Quality – made from 100% medical-grade silicone, with sturdy construction for durability
- Versatility – flexible for a variety of positions, body types, and genders
- User-Friendliness – Easy charging and cleaning
I had an extended lunch date with a friend (you may remember her from my review of Love Lies Bleeding), so it was the perfect timing to try out a new toy – the Union Vibe 2.0 Vibrating Double Dildo from Wet For Her.
We’re both middle-aged women, peri- and post-menopausal (me and her, respectively), and we’re in an exploratory mode. The Union was her choice, which surprised me because she’s not usually into penetration.
Me, on the other hand – I can orgasm without penetration, but it’s not nearly as satisfying. So this is a toy that can serve a lot of different needs!
What Does the Union Vibe 2.0 Do?
We’re big fans of Wet For Her at Midlife Queer. They’re a lesbian and sapphic-focused company – for us, by us – with high-quality products and excellent customer service.
The Union Vibe 2.0 is a substantial dildo that comes in several sizes. The insertable length is 5.9”, but with a small, medium, and large shaft thickness. We used a medium (1.38” diameter); the bulb is 1.38” on all models.
At the moment, the Union 2.0 only comes in black or purple. I wonder if they have any plans to introduce other colors – they offer a wide range in other products.
With dual motors, the wearer and the receiver are both getting some vibrating action! You get 10 speeds, which you can control with a button on the toy, or with a remote control.
- Medical Grade Sillicone
- Phthalate & Latex Free
- Fragrance and Paraben Free
- Harness compatible
It’s bendable and firm, but made from soft silicone for a smooth texture. They also added some ridges at the bottom of the shaft to give the wearer some clit stimulation – a nice touch.
So How Does the Union Vibe 2.0 Perform?
So let’s get down to business. My partner used the bulb, and I took the shaft. It was nice when she was on top, but when I got on top of her, it was even better. When we got to really bouncing, the size and the vibe together was intense!
A few notes – my partner did have to keep adjusting, as the bulb wanted to pop out when we were moving around. Now, that wasn’t too much of a problem to just reach around and adjust. We’re both average size, and pretty flexible (she’s actually a certified yoga instructor, so yeah).
But if you have a larger body or aren’t very flexible, you might want to use a harness to keep the bulb end in place. WFH says the Union 2.0 is compatible with all their harnesses. I like the boxers. I’ve done that with a similar double dildo in the past, and it really frees up your hands. That’s just speculating, though – experiment for yourself!
Another note – if you like to use cannabis before playtime, make sure you read the operating instructions before partaking. Both of us completely blanked on the fact that we had a remote control, so we kept feeling around for the button on the toy to adjust the vibrations. The remote would have been a lot easier!
WFH also offers a non-vibrating version, the Union 1.0 Double Dildo, for those of you who want to keep it low-tech.
All in all, the Union Vibe 2.0 is a very satisfying toy. It’s versatile enough for a lot of different positions and body types, and is designed with features to pleasure both partners in a variety of ways.
